Because of these extra powers, creatine has been studied not just for athletes but also for people with health problems where energy, strength, or recovery are limited. It’s a reminder that creatine isn’t flashy. Instead, it’s reliable and steady—surprisingly useful. How Creatine Helps Cognition When Sleep Goes Awry Sleep loss hits the brain hard. Sharp thoughts turn into fuzzy guesses, and memories slip away like soap in the shower. Science shows that missing sleep lowers energy stores and boosts oxidative damage, which hurts attention, memory, and mood (Alhola & Polo-Kantola, 2007). Over time, poor sleep can throw off important brain chemicals like serotonin and dopamine, while also fueling inflammation that affects both body and mind. This is where creatine shines. By boosting phosphocreatine levels in the brain, it helps refill the energy supply (ATP)in other words brain food. during low-energy times. Also by the end of March the majority of resolutions are broken according to Forbes.com So here are some modalities to help you stay on track! Hiring a Coach may make all the difference. How to Stay Consistent with Fitness Resolutions Using EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques/tapping). EFT, also known as tapping, can help overcome the emotional and mental blocks that often derail fitness goals right off the track.  Identify the Challenges First Identify the Challenges, and that means all of them. Remember just one percent better in many areas is a whole lot better. Thank you James Clear in Atomic Habits! Before you begin, pinpoint the specific challenges you face in sticking to your fitness resolutions, such as:     •    Lack of motivation. •    Feeling overwhelmed or too busy. •    Negative self-talk (e.g., “I’m too out of shape”). •    Fear of failure or judgment at the gym. Use EFT to Address Emotional Blocks around these challenges. Second, use EFT to Address Emotional Blocks around these challenges. Follow these steps to tap through the barriers holding you back: Step 1: Acknowledge the Problem and Rate your emotional charge from 0 (none) to 10 (extremely charged). Start with a setup statement while tapping on the Karate Chop point (side of your hand) saying set up phrase 3xs: Use the words that resonate with you, this is very important! “Even though I feel unmotivated to work out, I deeply and completely accept myself.” please use the words that resonate with you, this is very important! So if you are not quite to completely accepting yourself, you may change it to I am thinking it will be good to deeply and completely accept myself. “Even though I feel intimidated going to the gym, I accept myself as I am.” Step 2: Tap Through the Points As you tap on each point, focus on your specific feelings or thoughts: Moving on to Top of Head: “I don’t know if I can make it this time.” Inner Eyebrow: “I feel so unmotivated to work out.” Side of Eye: “I’m afraid I’ll fail again.” Under Eye: “I don’t have the energy to exercise.” Under Nose: “I hate how I feel about my body right now.” Chin: “It feels so hard to stick to a routine.” Collarbone: “What if I can’t keep this up?” Under Arm: “I’ve quit so many times before.” Liver meridian: one inch under nipple for men, at bra line at center of ribs for women:  “I feel ashamed of how I look” This is called a round, continue to repeat until the charged has dropped to a 2-3 or under. Time to Reframe Your Thoughts, speaking to yourself as a very dear child. shifting to positive affirmations: Eyebrow: “I am ready to start fresh and try again.” Side of Eye: “I can take small steps to improve my fitness.” Under Eye: “I have the power to stay consistent this time.” Under Nose: “I am capable of reaching my fitness goals.” Chin: “I choose to make my health a priority.” Collarbone: “Each workout is progress toward the person I want to be.” Under Arm: “I am proud of myself for committing to this journey.” Top of Head: “I am building a stronger, healthier me every day.” Liver meridian: “I am really proud of what I am doing for myself.” Creating a Routine with EFT Creating a Routine with EFT will bring new habits and achievements easier and with less resistance. Using tapping as part of your pre-workout routine or whenever you feel resistance for most anything. Give yourself the gift of celebrating even the small wins, who better to encourage you than you? Give it a try and see if encouragement doesn’t increase from even unexpected places! Tapping will help you focus on your progress instead of perfection. Remember to reflect on small successes. Effort instead of perfection is the key to consistency! Make It a Habit Consistency comes from addressing emotional hurdles as they arise. Frustration has purpose. Hi Loves,  Everyone feels frustration from time to time and Frustration has a purpose. But what is the point of frustration? It’s to bring one to the point of knowing definitely what one wants by way of contrasting that which one discovers is not for them. Turning one in the direction that suits better. In this way it brings one to exactly where one knows what one wants. Frustration and Struggle to escape the cocoon So in the struggle of… whatever the frustration happens to be, maybe work, relationships, a difficult spouse or children, financial issues, whatever it may be, it’s all about bringing one to fruition instead of the frustration. Frustration is a tool to be listened to. Frustration is like being in the growth phase of becoming new, like the place where the caterpillar becomes pure liquid, inside the cocoon before becoming the butterfly. Frustration into action Going thru the frustration brings one to the actions, one must make in order to get to fruition. Some of us might realize ones responsibility, then change  behaviors. However, frustration might be or become the go to habitual emotional state, a hamster wheel, the same cycle on repeat, for a number of reasons. Most of all when one refuses to take an analytical look at a situation and what part of the issue is our own responsibility (our ability to respond differently). Then responding with action, when feeling frustrated is growth, like the butterfly escaping the cocoon that was much needed at one time to hold and protect when in a state of change from pure liquid to a butterfly. That time is to be treasured with loving kindness and patience, for ones self. Growth means Changing All of these attitudes are valid for different situations and very changeable as one grows. Changing the thought about responsibility means the difference between power and powerlessness. You my love are powerful beyond what you are aware of. Think of all the frustration that you have had or are dealing with. How will that look if you know, you have the power with re-sponsive-ness in responsibility? Extremely powerful in deed. The same as going to get nurishment after the exertion of shedding the cocoon. Changing Perspective Because changing thinking is not always available without the help of a different perspective, finding the right support team is extremely important. Spouses or significant others, even good friends may see us more clearly than we may see ourselves, although expectations and impatience may hinder that relationship greatly. Finding someone with unconditional positive regard, someone who is experienced in assisting with changing seasons and perspectives and all that metamorphosis means is extremely valuable. Supportive Self-Parenting The right support team is vital to ones discovery of self and how to best self-parent. Being a great parent to oneself is one vital aspect of creating a life of fruition instead of frustration. Actually completing the developmental growth that happens in a cocoon, enabling flight. Frustration is a necessary part of growth, however if one stays in the frustration instead of growing through it, flight will be stagnated. Let’s get some assistance in changing perspectives and changing ones mind to a place that will solve what the frustration is and return to the intended growth towards flight. “You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.”-Albert Einstein Achieving ones goals often requires one to look at a number of behaviors, characteristics, patterns and situations. Someone said you can’t get there from where you’re at, this is true. Einstein said “You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.”  I for one have never heard a truer word. Good News The good news is changing the mind is pretty simple for most working with a good coach. Especially one working with emotional freedom techniques. Cooling the fear center of the brain with such a simple natural technique brings one into emotional, physical, and even spiritual equilibrium. Emotional Roots of Frustration The emotions that are at the root cause of the unwanted habit or thought patterns that on is being held in place or stuck for lack of a better word, may have a variety sources or causes. However, whatever the cause or source without help finding it, can be nearly impossible. Finding success may be as difficult as pulling teeth or as easy as 123 with a good coach/EFT practitioner. Again I refer to Einstein’s quote. Sabotage There’s a lot of factors that go along with how difficult or easy one finds change, especially when random emotions sabotage good intentions. Good intentions are wonderful, however, without follow-through pointless. This we all know, emotion overrides willpower all most every time, especially with unresolved emotional issues. Releasing stuck emotions Considering humans are emotional with just about every aspect in life, when there is healing in one area there is usually tremendous healing in all areas when the emotions are healed. It’s like the reverse snowball effect instead of emotional frustrations building in building, they are released and let go of. Bringing resolution, peace, emotional grounded-ness, meaning that one is swayed by unforeseen circumstances less and less. Releasing more and more, layer by layer. Unwinding the string of the cocoon. Enabling one to take more relaxed strides, achieving more and more goals, until your life looks even better than you thought or imagined! Stress & Anxiety of Frustration So until one finds emotional healing,  hinderance is expected from the best of what life is. That means being subject to the orneriness of life, stress, anxiety and inability for pure true connection.. I don’t know anybody who enjoys that kind of frustration. Keeping track with journaling helps many see and analyze patterns. Releasing Fear and Receiving Joy Loves, you and yours are worthy of finding loving, joyful relationship, with ones self and others. Who is the Villain?

Since it is Halloween, let’s talk villains! I asked my daughter who her favorite villain is and she loved the question! She went right to Malificent and the meme that she liked so much. She talked about how Malificent was slighted, not being invited to a one year old’s birthday party, resulting in a plan for revenge 16 years later! Talk about ridiculous expectations from the drama Mama of all drama mamas! If there is a Villain there is a Victim! Who is the Villain?! If there is a villain (seen to be evil and powerful), there is a victim (seen to be weak and powerless) and where there is a villain and victim there is usually a Superhero/Rescuer (takes charge without being asked). This is the unhealthy drama triad. The characters may change places at any given time, as long as everyone involved the unhealthy drama triad continues. Help, Superhero! Here are some possibilities of development from an unhealthy trauma triad into a healthy triad relationship: Let’s call the Superhero the Rescuer, someone who may be over-helping the Victim, preventing the victim from learning autonomy. The Victim who has the power to learn to show up for ones self, grows in self-sufficiency, self respect, and grows by making healthy choices. While the Superhero/Rescuer stands back and allows the victim to make a choice on their own, allowing for failure or success. Making room and allowances for growth. The Victim sees a way to stand strong! The Villian is left without a victory, and has to rethink how to get their needs met: all it takes is one person to make a change and the unhealthy drama triad is broken.  Who is the Villain? It has been said that we are all a villain in someones story. Whether we are the villain on purpose or not is another question. Isn’t it really all about perspective and our own story that creates a certain meaning? How one is triggered, or not, and what one chooses to do with the meaning of that trigger, is ones choice, in creating their true reality.  Is the offended party the real Villain? If one takes offense to another because of a story that is playing in ones mind is it real? I mean it is only in ones head. Right?  Actions start as thoughts.  Maybe one that judges harshly is viewing ones story thru a lens of harshness because they aren’t feeling their best. This can be due to a lack of sleep, possible abusive relationships, or anything in between. If someone is rude or insulting, how is their energy? Demeaning? I like this word because it perfectly describes the action of lower energy.  De-Meaning Here’s why:  De, which means to make void of: Making void of meaning. That is my personal thought.  However the Merriam-Webster defines demean as to “lower in character, status, or reputation” and de as “do the opposite of”. While meaning is defined as “the thing one is meant to convey or something meant or intended: aim.” So another way to interpret Demeaning is creating the illusion of  the opposite of what is intended and even the opposite of what has all ready been achieved. To foil or insinuate ones energy for the purpose to “bring down a notch or two” may cause someone to appear to have missed the mark or goal, their aim. Illusions Does that mean that the mark was truly missed? In the moment it may feel like it to all involved, but the more the emotions are broken down behind the demeaning, the more I believe it is only an illusion. However a powerful illusion, even a believable illusion that may cause many people to believe less than of said person. This is very sad that people will believe a lie, if it is told often enough, or if demeaning happens often enough it degrades ones true character, demeaning who one truly is. This is what I mean:   If one has achieved ones goals and the other distracts oneself and others with demeaning action, the goal is still achieved, even if the credit has been taken away because of demeaning actions and/or words, distracting from the truth of a person, and their goodness.  Who is the Villain? If one is being loving, kind and nourishing, and is met with rudeness, it is most likely that the receiver feels unworthy of the loving kindness and nurturing that is offered; is the feeling of unworthiness true?? I believe no, even though it defiantly feels true to that individual. Therefore, it’s their truth, but only if accepted. One has the right to reject demeaning and all that it implies. Will others know what the truth is? Some will, some won’t, so what, thats life! – – Yes? As painful as that may be, yes. Justice How lovely it is when one stands up for what they know to be true, right and just. The influence that one person has to speak, over the noise of demeaning words and actions, is powerful. I encourage you to be courageous and speak the loving edifying words of justice, for the truth is always non-negotiable; which is more powerful with a much higher vibration than demeaning words and actions. I applaud you ahead of time. Thank you. Worthy Because if one is conceived one is worthy of love, kindness and nourishment, even if ones parents are unable to give what is required, it never means one is unworthy. If you are reading this, hearing this read to you, or just being, you are worthy.  Master Ones feelings are not always a true North, just because one feels bad about ones self doesn’t mean that there are any less worthy than someone who feels good. For instance, feelings have been influenced by the people who have raised us or pretended to help raise us, or, … Sometimes resulting in shame, possible trauma, blame, and lacking loving acceptance, in other words “making believe”

New Years Resolutions!

Hi Loves, Have you make any New Years resolutions this Year? Are they broke yet? For the majority of New Years resolution makers the answer is a resounding “Yes! All of mine are broken!” and by now forgotten! What happens that all of those great New Years Resolutions that start as an absolute must, now turns to dust?! Here’s what Forbes says are the most popular New Years resolutions are: Improved fitness (48%) Improved finances (38%) Improved mental health (36%) Lose weight (34%) Improved diet (32%) The bad news is that by the end of March the majority of resolutions are broken according to Forbes.com So here is some encouragement! There are a few things that positively influences all of these.  Working out and Emotional Freedom Techniques(EFT) and getting a good coach. You might say even if I did work out, do EFT and I get a good coach, how is that going to influence my financial fitness? It does for the biggest majority of people, because working out improves mental/emotional health, physical health, possibly even in turn improved mental health makes for better decision making. EFT cools the amigdila aka fear center of the brain, which means that one who has done their work using EFT has more confidence in making quicker and more informed decisions. Definitely a confidence builder.* When making quicker smarter decisions, in a calm stress free frame of mind, one raises ability to be more financially fit. Today consider training, consider putting your self in the category of an athlete. One may argue that there is no way to consider that you are an athlete. However everyone is in some way, even if it is only keeping the body fit enough to enable walking around the earth. Everyone is here for a reason, a purpose, an invention, or a calling. No matter how unimportant the calling seems, it is respectable. Because with one calling left undone, it leaves a hole in the environment of our lives. One does this, so another does that, a kind of community/environmental/cultural growth serendipity . Each of us affects the other. Symbiotic if you will. 1st challenge for today: Look at the older people in the world, What are they going through? The aging population, with out enough strength, must have help with basic needs. Resolve to be an athlete, even if it is only to ensure ability to live in one’s body with out the need of assisted living. There is no shame in assisted living by any means. There is a time we all need a bit of help, in many different ways. However, preferencing  physical independence and relational interdependence  is healthy. Those are some personal New Year resolutions, goals & my hope for you love. Let’s decide to do something everyday for our physical body even if it is only stretching and eating well. Focus training on what one is able to do, instead of what the vision one sees in advertising  dictates what ons ‘should’ look like.. Doing a little something is better than nothing. Perfect sometimes gets in the way of good, even worse sometimes perfection puts action to sleep. So give yourself the breaks and respect you deserve. Then try the next step up. Building up strength as one goes. Setbacks are a given, we are human. Keep going, rest when needed and keep going. This life is hopefully a marathon not a 50 yard dash. When 20 years pass, how old will you be? Not only in years but in physical strength/agility age. Chronological age never has to be the same as physical age. Hopefully a physical age of 20 years younger. May have heard a yea right! Well when one deals with ones fears, while keeping a passion for life with goals and things to look forward to, 20 years is not very long. What will you do for your future self? If you are one of the majority of New Years Resolution breakers, give yourself the gift of showing up for yourself. A coach may be just the thing that gives you the extra push you need to achieve your goals for your future self. One part of getting a coach that raises your chances of achieving your goals is shown by a research study by The American Society of Training and Development. It shows that if you publicly commit your goals to someone, you will per default increase the chance of completing them with 65% but if you have an accountability partner it increases you chance of success to  95%!!!   2nd challenge for today: take a 15 minutes and tap(EFT) what ever is taking up your valuable mental space, let’s work on that, making room for growth. 3rd challenge for today: decide, plan, & do for you and you future self, that which you can do. Why Wait?? the time will never be Just Right

Unleashing the Potential: Embrace Empowerment for a Fulfilling Future Hi Loves, Hope you are feeling an inspiration to do something for your future self and that will ultimately create a positive affect for future generations. You know what it is and there will never be the “perfect” time to start. What needs to be done before the actual start date? Save 20,000.? Raise 100,000. Maybe Croudfund? Or maybe it’s even bigger? Maybe it’s a few Million or it may be moving across the country because a certain community will support you in your endeavors, where your current community will not. You and your dream are worthy of being created. It could be a number of decisions that are bidding for your attention. Today be encouraged that you are powerful and that your actions are meaningful to yourself, family and your community. What you are doing now may pale in comparison to what your dreams and desires have in store for you, your family, and communities. Believe you can and you will. Be brave and very courageous! Grounding (helps with better sleep too)

The Power of Grounding Techniques for a Healthier You Because we are electrical beings, it is important to stay grounded, both in a physical and emotional sense. When one is doing emotional work, it is even more important to get and stay grounded. Here are just a few cost-effective ways to accomplish this: 1. Wear leather soled shoes. 2. If you have only rubber/plastic soled shoes, lean up against a tree, one that has a long taproot, for example, oak is more beneficial than cedar. 3. Walk barefoot on the ground and concrete. 4. Lay down on the earth. 5. Imagine that your feet have roots all the way to the core of the earth (this one helps to ground one mentally) and is especially effective when getting to the earth is impractical, like riding in a car or stuck in an office. Remember: One’s body and mind cannot differentiate what has actually happened and what has been mentally rehearsed. Simply explained, we are electrical beings, and our natural, healthy state is to be grounded. When we stay grounded, we are healthier, and our cells regenerate at the healthiest rate. Journaling

Journaling Journaling historically has never been one of my favorite things to do. It all sounds so romantic! What a hoot, writing down what our life has been like! The very intimate secrets that one wants no one and I mean no one, to know. Personally I’d have loved to read my grandparents journals, had they been written! But then there’s the part about someone else seeing EXACTLY how we feel and think! Vulnerable My grandparents were raised to keep secrets, never to tell. Do we really feel safe enough for our own personal truth to be exposed? That can be very intimidating yet very freeing at the same time! Vulnerable to say the least! However I have found myself taking pen in hand on more than one occasion and now I have a stack of journals! Am I a faithful daily writer? NO. However I do make it a habit to write when unsettling circumstances and or emotions arise. Therapeutic Therapeutic I must say that even with sporadic writing it does help me to notice patterns of behavior, in myself and in others. Which would have taken me much longer to notice if I hadn’t written it down. This has helped me with my children’s behavioral patterns, therefore enabling me to be a better parent. This is also a great tool, in healthy and unhealthy relationship patterns alike. One may learn to know themselves better with journaling, gaining clarity about situations This may lead to one realizing their own unhealthy patterns, enabling change, therefore reducing stress. Expressive Healthful One 2005 study found that the kind of “expressive writing” often connected with journaling is especially therapeutic. The study found that participants who wrote about traumatic, stressful or emotional events were significantly less likely to get sick, and were ultimately less seriously affected by trauma, than their non-journaling counterparts(1). Stress is a known trigger for many dis-eases.The more science studies stress, the more it is shown to correlate with dis-ease. This I’ve learned from experience as well. Stress When I get caught up in life and go too fast, refusing to take time for myself, my body revolts against my decision. Maybe I should say the lack of decision to take good care of myself. When one is under much stress, one is unable to think clearly, making decisions for self-care doesn’t even seem like an option. Leadership Skip Richard, believes that journaling assists in great leadership, by helping to organize and cement ideas. “Many famous people kept journals or diaries. These people came from all walks of life: business (John D. Rockefeller); military (George Patton); inventors (Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison); presidents and prime ministers (John Adams, Ronald Reagan, Winston Churchill) and many authors (Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway)”(3). There are many studies that claim that those that journal are healthier. I definitely feel healthier when keeping a journal faithfully. Healing Heartache “While some may consider it overanalyzing, studies have shown that ruminating on a past relationship actually speeds up emotional recovery and helps build a stronger sense of self-identity following a breakup.” Rachel Grate(1). Here Rachel is referring to journaling. Strengthens Immunity Many researchers believe that journaling improves our health. “University of Texas at Austin psychologist and researcher James Pennebaker contends that regular journaling strengthens immune cells, called T-lymphocytes”(2). Allowing ourselves to communicate our emotions, feelings, and gut reactions about a situation will create health. So it comes to the matter, are we paying attention to what our needs are? Are we supporting ourselves or are we stuffing our emotions and out of touch with our needs? Upheavals “Emotional upheavals touch every part of our lives,” Pennebaker has been quoted as saying. “You don’t just lose a job, you don’t just get divorced. These things affect all aspects of who we are — our financial situation, our relationships with others, our views of ourselves. … Writing helps us focus and organize the experience.”(2) Learning When we choose to learn from our own experiences because of what we write, it is so beautifully valuable. Emotional Freedom Technique Emotional freedom technique is benefited by journaling, being especially helpful identifying our triggers and wounds, enabling faster healing. When one uses modalities like journaling with Emotion freedom technique it can be a very powerful healing tool. So I feel called to highly recommend daily journaling. Especially in times where you want your healing to go as quickly as possible. After one accepts that a trauma has happened, even if the trauma isn’t recognized as such) and worked through the triggers, we have an opportunity. One in which to turn the issues around by recycling the energy. Upleveling if you will, Upleveling By giving the issues and stressors a different meaning. One may change the meaning of one’s story, to serve instead of hinder. Agony, one has felt for a long while may be released and recycled or upleveled into a very meaningful story. Turning the meaning of our history into the joy that brings majesty of our spirit. Recycling/upleveling the meaning of hurt, rejection, abuse, hate, war, and worry. When are they helpful? One only learns from it after releasing the stress of it? Possibly the story that we tell ourselves, is what is keeping us from a full and complete recovery. Fear Isn’’t it fear that keeps us repressed? The fear which keeps us from experiencing the fullness of life? I have heard and believe that fear and love are opposites. What would our lives look like without the story of fear? A different way to say the same thing is, what will our lives look like without the fear of the story? Both points of view are very valid. Recycling the energy enables us to enliven who we have been created and called to be. Loving, caring, gracious souls, free from anxiety and fear. Souls that know love is the natural response before trauma and without trauma.
