The Power of Grounding Techniques for a Healthier You

Because we are electrical beings, it is important to stay grounded, both in a physical and emotional sense. When one is doing emotional work, it is even more important to get and stay grounded. Here are just a few cost-effective ways to accomplish this:

1. Wear leather soled shoes.
2. If you have only rubber/plastic soled shoes, lean up against a tree, one that has a long taproot, for example, oak is more beneficial than cedar.
3. Walk barefoot on the ground and concrete.
4. Lay down on the earth.
5. Imagine that your feet have roots all the way to the core of the earth (this one helps to ground one mentally) and is especially effective when getting to the earth is impractical, like riding in a car or stuck in an office.

Remember: One’s body and mind cannot differentiate what has actually happened and what has been mentally rehearsed.

Simply explained, we are electrical beings, and our natural, healthy state is to be grounded. When we stay grounded, we are healthier, and our cells regenerate at the healthiest rate.
